Flashing Green Light when firing

heya all,

i have been paintballing for about 5 months now and finaly brought my own gun, a friend was selling a new pm5 that has never been used , he was was getting out of the sport,

so forgive me but i am totally new to setting up a marker,

there was no on/off so i brought one and conected the air bottle to it there was an air leak so i fixed that problem,

now the gun is air tight but when i try to fire a paintball i get a flashing green light

i have tried to clean the eyes, replace battery, checked the board to see if the sold to see if thats ok and still no go,

im out of idea's and im mean to be using this on sunday lol

please someone help out a newb

Flashing green light is an eye failure.

turn the eyes off and your gun will fire fine. Keep the bps down to 15 and you probably wont break a ball as long as you have a velocity or better type hopper. Order some new eyes from one of the banners above and you should be good.

also how do i turn the eyes off?? ive looked thur the book and cant really understand it sorry im a noob i know :(

first try these steps. They are listed in the sticky right above this thread.

The eyes are not working correctly. Clean the eyes with rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.
You'll know that they are clean if the LED turns red when there is nothing inside the breech of the MATRIX.
Make sure the eye wires are not broken or pinched.
The battery may be low. In this case, the battery should be changed as soon as possible.
Make sure the eye ribbon cable is plugged in correctly with the <b>metal tab</b> facing up.

My Marker isn't working though eyes are clean and all wires are connected; Marker does work if eyes are turned off
Change the battery. The voltage in the battery is too low for the eye to function correctly.

ok wheni turn the marker on now the light goes red, i put my air on, but nothing happends when i pull the trigger

Place something in the breech to simulate a ball being in the breech and do not pull the trigger, Does the Light turn green, If it does your eyes are fine.

yep when i place a paintball in the breach, the light turns green, when i try to fire the light flashes green, and will not fire.

the gun will also not fire when no ball is in

im totally stuck :(

Press the button under the power button to turn off the eyes it should be flashing red when you turn off the eyes

Oh yeah, you need to replace your eye set also. That is the problem you are having.

i have a pmr and the light is red when i turn the gun on so its clean i put my finger in the breech turns green and thats all normal but when i start shooting it starts blinking green and slows down the shooting what should i do
